How about a semi automatic revolver?

Here's another interesting one that actually worked- the wheel lock. It's muzzleloading but not a flint in the conventional sense. After charging the barrel, the "wheel" was turned with a "spanner". The wheel is attached to a clockwork type spring internally that pulling the trigger allows it to spin. They usually were regulated to about a 1/4 turn. So after loading the barrel, "cocking" the wheel, priming the pan, the gun is ready to fire. To fire, the "hammer" is place down upon the wheel putting the pyrites in contact with the wheel. Pulling the trigger allows the wheel to spin 1/4 turn generating sparks into the pan igniting the priming and main charge. This exact same principle is still used today in a conventional wheel and flint lighter.

They are quite reliable but then as now, expensive to make.
