Gunman at Virginia ballfield kept local storage locker with ammunition

Most of us probably have 200 rounds under the seats in our cars

One member posted the other day about his get home setup - I think he had over 200 just in g33 mags.
Plus 200+ in four or five calibers.
And over 1000 in 22.

I dont have 200 in my car, but still feel like if some of these northern liberals found out what I did have they'd try to have me exiled. And I'm no where near what some of yall got.

200 rounds...that is less than an hour at the range

Hmmm ...

At home in one drawer of mine has about that in loose ammo. If they opened my Justrite storage cabinet ... then the powder and primer cabinet ... and the misc stuff like binary component ... they'd stroke out. That 200 rounds is laughable.

In my vehicle there are at least 2 loaded handgun mags so that can be 16 to 34 rounds for regular stuff. If there are other things going in even 200 in the vehicle is not out of the question sometimes.

I'm flying right now. 210 rounds of M855 5.56 is 11 lbs your max weight. You want to know whats in my suitcase? 160 rds of 5.56 and 50 rounds of 9mm HydraShoks +P+.

CD

I remember when I had that many, it was before the boat accident. I'll bet I had upwards of 250 rounds in the ammo can I had on board but it went down faster than the guns.... Sad day.... I did find a single .22 cartridge in the shop last weekend, I'm carrying it in my pocket as a reminder.....

My bump in the night rig has 240rds in mags, not counting the one in the rifle. I am some sort of maniac apparently.

If my "thirty magazine clip in half a second" math is correct - and it is - it would only have taken him about 3.3 seconds to fire off the rest of those bullets. And that's not even taking into account the fact he wasn't using a ghost gun.

That right there folks ... is some scary stuff.

I filled to 50 cal ammo cans from under the back seat of the Tundra. That did not include the used brass I had. I feel naked going to Virginia next week for a retirement party for a Lt. Col. We have to go on base and my wife is making me empty the truck. I told her it would be easier to rent a car for that day.:):Do_O

I wonder if he parked his van down by the river?

This storage unit thing..
The way the article paints it, I keep getting this picture of an empty 10'x20' room with 4 boxes of wwb sitting in the middle of the floor.

Correct. There is no other reason a homeless guy would have a storage unit. Visiting it 3 or 4 times a day and basically living out of the damn thing is an absurd idea.
Now go away you offensive man.

Yes actually. Rent a car and try to find one with out of state tags.

I have way I have way more than that just in the back seat!

You guys scare me. What does anyone need with 200 rounds of ammo?

Well apparently if you're using it to hunt Republicans, you can't shoot for s**t so you need all those rounds to score some hits.
