So my 1911 style pistol is of Spanish make. Llama Max I LF. It's mostly a 1911, but there are some differences.

Anyway, I absolutely love it but finding certain parts that fit is difficult. For instance: I got a magwell basically for free but of course the area around the magazine opening is a bit different on the frame of this gun.

Can some of you guys with other makes of 1911s post up some pictures of the magazine opening, specifically the front area opposite the mainspring housing so I can see what it's supposed to look like? I'm trying to figure out what I need to change to fit this magwell. I have an idea just by looking at it, but I want to verify my suspicions.

Is that well secured by the mainspring housing pin only?
Very much so. Extremely sturdy. The company that makes those invented the mag well. I have two of them on two pistols and run them both in matches.
