I haven’t come close to being competitive in one of my own shoots, yet, and it ain’t for lack of trying...
 
We have some really cool stuff this match. One of the sponsors is Down Home Roofing Company, and they built an appropriate stage for us. You might be wagering your points versus your confidence at some point, and there’s one or two long distance sub-MOA targets that you might have a shot at. The concession stand will be open, the shirts look good, and everyone will have a good chance ( I’m thinking 25% or better) to take something home at the end.
I’m freaking excited!
 
I'm a tad nervous. Haven't taken the 6mm out passed 100 yet and haven't had time to get a super accurate load like I had with my 6.5. still shooting 1/2moa but not 1/4 moa like the 6.5 was.

Very excited also. We gotta start doing these more often

Here come the excuses. Oh my load was off, my dope card holder had a glare, Blake’s muzzle brake was too loud, Blake’s such a way better shooter than me....

LMAO. That's pretty funny.

Your muzzle brake does kinda make me forget where I am for a few seconds. Is there another Blake coming that is a way better shooter than me? I beat the only Blake last time and I didn't miss the moon sized target with the pistol. Hahaha

I checked my ammo when I got home, brass first, all was good. Checked my seating depth. Should have been 5thou off the lands, they were 7thou jammed in the lands. Which is why I had hard bolt closes and I'm guessing why I was shooting high.

No idea how I screwed that up. Oh well.
 
Had a great time yesterday. Had a good squad to shoot it and fun talking with everyone. Stages were challenging and the match moved well. You guys got a good thing rolling there. Was a 3 hour drive out but an easy drive although waking up at 430am sucked a little LOL Hope to make it out again for another match. Thanks for doing it.
