Pretty new to the gun community. Probably the last 5 or 6 years or so. I say new because I know some of you have been in the game since childhood. Unfortunately I never had that opportunity being born and raised in NYC. Moved to NC from NYC about 18 years ago hence the screen name. After I got to NC it took me a good 12 years to realize what I was missing out on but once I did..oh boy. I've developed quite a passion for firearms. I'm a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. I started a petition, and along with some friends who are also supporters of the Second Amendment, spearheaded getting a 2a sanctuary resolution passed in my county and we got it done. Wasn't that easy with a bunch of RINOS on the Board of Commissioners but we did it. Ya get a board room over flowing with gun owners and it's kinda hard to say no. I'm pretty proud of that being a Yankee and all. :) I recently got into reloading so that's been fun. Looking forward to chatting with some of you and learning more as I go. Thanks for having me.

I lived mainly in Brooklyn and Queens jumping back and forth but when I got married we moved to Port Washington. Rented a house because we couldn't afford to buy one in that town. Way too expensive. Nice place though. Had a lot of jobs in LI. Went to a lot of the clubs out there too when I was younger. There's quite a few of us Yankees here. Unfortunately a lot of them are bringing that blue state mentality with them. Hopefully there's more of us than them.

Welcome! great job on getting a resolution passed!! I still have family in NY as well, I hate that state haha!

And we do have to make a strong stand here because that blue mentality is coming in too quickly if ya ask me
 
Greetings from another escapee. Lived out on the island in Suffolk and ran about 15 years ago. Glad to hear you didnt drag that "blue" disease with ya.
