I just thought I would hop in here to say hello and that I’m very pleased to be here! We recently (nearly 6 months ago) relocated from the West coast to the greater Charlotte area for my wife’s job and I must say that after settling in, I believe that this has been an absolute blessing in disguise.

I’ve started shooting again (handgun) after a 7-8 month break and am looking for a rifle range close to home as well as a place for my Dad and I to shoot trap/skeet. Hopefully we will find several as we explore the area.

In any event, thank you for allowing me to be part of your online community.

FYI...my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson live in Indian Trail, so maybe we can all grab dinner sometime.

Check out Rowan Wildlife Club. Great facilities, great people, reasonable rules and dues. It's about an hour away but well worth it in my opinion. Hit me up if you'd like to go to check it out sometime.

Thank you for the warm welcome! Much like you (I assume) we could no longer tolerate a variety of things there. There are many positives, but we felt like strangers in a land that we used to call home.

Very interested in the Rowan Wildlife Club. I looked online and found a bit of information but it looks as though their website might not be operational…? Can you by chance point me in the right direction for a bit more information? From what I could tell on Facebook, it looks as though there may be fishing there as well?

I was going to private message you, but the only option I saw was “start a conversation”. Is that the same thing?
