Hi everyone. Middle of SC shooter here, I admit to my shame I spend more time drooling over the newest cool thing and planning builds/shoots/hunts than I do actually shooting lately. I hope joining a more local forum will change that. I’ve come to enjoy sporting clays at Wateree range, occasional trips to Hermitage in Camden when I feel like I need some humbling, and plinking with good old 22.

I want to get into long range and I think I’m going to do it with 30-06. Because ‘murica, and also I already have several in that caliber.

One day I may even go hunting. Bucket list item for sure.

Welcome to the forum! I agree with your 30'06 love interests. We need to resurrect that caliber in something like an AR15 platform. Someone neds to get PSA working on that.

I don’t need it, and I’m a little scaroused by it, but I’m glad it does actually exist.
