Yes, with the understanding that accuracy might be sub-par, and that I need to fire a few full power rounds after firing .22 to clear the gas system.
I am still thinking about a 7” dedicated upper at some point, that deal was just too good to pass. I have $500 in the entire setup including shipping and taxes.

.22 uppers and barrels are quite pricey. Especially when compared to the cost of a CMMG kit.
