I'm 99.9% sure it's .303.

It is a black spam can, unopened. I'm usually good at keeping records but I've lost the receipt for this.

My searching says it may be Radaway Green, 1956 vintage. H52 refers to the can. The other stuff, no idea.

Aside from an unintelligible grease pencil, the stamps you can see in the below photos are the only stamps.

I have no idea what ADC means, nor T.P.D. I did find a posting from 2012 asking about a black spam can of 303 exactly like this one, but his was marked "T.R.D."

Depending on the packaging it either contains 288 or 300 rounds

If anyone can shed any light, I'd appreciate it

The Brits packages 9mm in those cans, too. I’d open it. You’ll probably sell the ammo more quickly by the box than by the can.

All of the .303 I saw were in rectangular metal cans called liners, not spam type cans. Liners have a pull handle to zip open the can

Open it up!

If you open in I am curious as to what it ended up being...

UPDATE:

It is 303. 288 rd tin and obviously corrosive

I found the invoice. I bought it in 2010 from Classic

Thanks for the help.

If anyone is interested I will be listing it for sale shortly

Thanks
