I’m looking at two guns that are both CZ. No, I have no other gun desires outside of these so please keep it to these two. I have other brands. This will be a carry gun and a work truck gun.

CZ P07
CZ P10

I have not carried a DA/SA action. I own a couple I never shoot at all and sold the 1911 stuff. I’m only selecting one of these because the next one will be a full size CZ 75 series gun.

Are you a striker fired fan? or a SA/DA fan?
I have a P07. Its a great accurate gun but I prefer my striker fired pistols.
If youre going to get a full size 75 I would maybe go with the 07 for continuity.
My 07 will be up for sale or trade soon.

I've had both, liked the P07 more just because I'm a sa/da kinda guy.
The p10C is lighter, carries better, fits Glock holsters.
The P07 has a better trigger.
The p10C has had some teething problems, so just be aware if you get an early one the mag catch might be stiff and the rear plate capable of causing a malfunction.

My opinion, for what it's worth; the best CZ's are the non-polymer ones.

With this statement I gotta ask why not just go with a CZ75 variant than the two you mentioned to stay closer in manual of arms? Of the 2 you listed and running with the future full size CZ75 I’d say P07 for hammer fire DA/SA similarity’s.

I have quite a few handguns. Full, compact, subcompact. Glocks, S&W, Colt, Canik, target, etc....

Primary carry now is G19 or G43. Primary home defense is 5.56 pistol with drum mag so those positions are filled unless something beats them out. That may happen with a CZ. This gun will ride in a work truck most of the time and hit the belt loop in shady neighborhoods during work times.

Which would be what CZ gun?

They are both great guns. I would love to have either(or both). That being said, my deciding factor would be which one I could get the best deal on 1st.

Out of those two choices put them in your hand, and go with your gut. But there was a P01 Omega in the classifieds. I'd just buy that one.

Seconds on the p01, I have both the models you are looking at, but would sell both long before my P01.

Of the two option listed, this statement would make me choose the P10. You already have glocks that you carry, so youd have holsters already.

As others have said, if your next one is going to be a full size 75, I would also recommend getting a compact now that mirrors the manual of arms vs the -07 or -10.
If you are going to go with a full size with safety, I would get a 75 Compact with safety now.
If you are going to go with a full size with decocker, I would get either a PCR or P01. The only real major difference in the two is whether or not it has an accessory rail. Thats a personal choice if you need the rail or not.

FWIW...gunman35 has a P01 (standard, not omega) lisyed in the hickory/lincolnton area. Ive given that one a hard look, myself lol.
But be careful, just like Glock lovers accumulate Glocks, CZ's can get addictive as well :)

Best of luck in your search.

As an aside, Im not far from you and I have several you can put your meathooks on and try out if you want.
They are all decockers (personal preference) but they'll let you judge feel in the hand, balance, and shootability.
Some are modified a little, some are full custom jobs, some are bone stock except for the grips. The choices are yours lol.
You provide ammo, I'll provide full size and compacts for you to try.

Thank you for the offer. I might take you up on that. Four weeks from now we are going to the outdoor range in Cleveland County. Might get my Po Po buddy in your county to join us, Terry Greyson. I want to get down to the new range in the next week or so before the others join just to get acquainted.

I’ll look at the forum ads again.

Just let me know. Im a member at Bullseye in Vale and I have my safety card for the Clev County range. Im good to go at either, but I personally like Bullseye better. They let grownups be grownups.
At any rate, Im available.

I recommend taking him up on his offer. You don’t pick CZs, they pick you.

If you want to throw some others into the mix I shoot at the Cleveland Co Foothills range. I could let you shoot a Shadow 2 and a CGW Pro Package 75B. If the timing is right I might even have my steel P01 with the safety setup not a decocker back from CGW too.

We can also shoot this if you are interested... that is a stock photo. Mine has had a few mods and ad ons but no good pics of it yet. LOL

I just got the call that my stamps are ready for my Scorpion SBR and a Griffin Rev 9 supressor.
Due to schedules, I don't get to pickup until Friday :(
But, I should have everything put together by the end of the weekend :D

Nice I went the tailhook brace route but am considering starting SBR paperwork. My trigger pack is currently at Shooters Elements getting a buff and fluff.

The concept..finished pics will follow, of course. But this is what Im shooting for.

With this rear stock. It folds, too.

I have a Holosun 510 to sit on top, upgraded trigger pack, charging handle, springs, and not sure what else.
Got a bit of work to do on it lol

Nice I did the trigger pack upgrade with HBI springs, clean and buff with a black flat trigger from Shooters Elements. They are also putting a short AK safety selector on the right side. I am swapping the grip for a Yeti Yurks Switchback. It has the folding CZ stock with the Tailhook Ver 1 on it. It is currently running a Primary Arms advanced micro dot but will be replacing that with a Aimpoint H1 a buddy of mine is giving me. So far I really like it. The factory trigger was way too heavy but still shootable and not as bad as everyone claimed it would be. I considered a different rail but I am sticking wit the stock one for now.

Looks like I have not one pistol purchase permit left. Went down to sheriff office today and purchased 8 more. Back up to a 4 to 5 week wait. Nothing like finding a folder empty when you are sobbering over choices. At least it gives me time to maybe shoot a couple for a decision. I’ll just order another couple thousand rounds of ammo to keep me happy each week until then.

Get your CCH and move on past that nuisance.

Actually, you don't need to buy too many guns per year over a 5 year period to make the CHP cost less than PPP's. ;)

We are derailing his thread (get whichever CZ you want, you will have 3 or 4 before Christmas anyway), but I agree Jeppo, not only that, the aggravation saved is amazing. I just show that card and boom...no more waiting, no more biding my time, no more hassle. It also makes skittish sellers here feel better when buying long guns that I have one.

Not possible. Took the class and applied. Had a simple affray in 1982 during college. Fought three members of a motorcycle gang who poured a milkshake on my friend’s head for fun. $25 fine got lumped in a group of offenses a decade ago and is now called going to the terror of the public. I made people afraid for fist fight.

Hired an attorney to look into it. Cannot be expunged. Got another attorney in Charlotte to look into an out. Nope. Sheriff waiver. Sheriff is friend, wife is law enforcement. Will not touch, too afraid might come back to haunt him. Will take sheriff sign off and court to ok in hearing.

Zero problems getting permits and long guns. Conceal is a problem. A number of my former employees did time for drugs and felons but they got expunged. Pisses me off to no end.

Yeah, but the important question is this: Did you win?
Three against one? Who knows. One went to the hospital in a PoPo car, I went to an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn holding tank in a blue and white flashing light taxi. Those guys in motorcycle clubs can’t fight. They just act tough in packs. Swing like girls. LOL.

Hard to beat the factory stock. The shape gets you properly aligned wit the sights and eliminates the need to use a riser.

Ours is limitless. You can buy 100. What county is the two limit?

PS: I bought the 75B first, a week ago I bought the 2075bd RAMI. I think the RAMI will be my open carry gun but I rarely carry, guns just stay in the truck or van.

In Scotland county you can only apply for two permits at a time....very tiresome. But I still have one left for my big heavy gun!
