Help with a name.

My wife sez Graylie. I say Maximus or Maxie for short.

He will not be ready for another three weeks.
Been missing a great Dane. This is the first pet that I have gone to a breeder for.
I tried to find a rescue for almost a year, but that would not work.

Speckles or Speck for short.
 
First thing that came to mind was cookies n cream based on his coat and appearance only. He's a boy, so Cook.
 
Sometimes my family doesn’t name our pets ... we’ll let them name themselves with personality or actions.

If pushed to name him ... he kinda looks like a Rufus.

We love ours, one of the best breeds around. Congrats!
 
well, he has to have a middle name, too.

our dog (avatar) is K.J., whose name was given at the shelter.
we didn't change it, and the initials didn't stand for anything.
our friend, Bill, said that stood for King John
...since he is our 4th dog: King John IV.
