I remember it as a pretty decent sized show. Not quite the Old GSO show. But a bit bigger than Salisbury..
A good show for traders. Am I remembering correctly?
Also, how's Foothills Jewelry and Loan? Seems they carry an interesting range of toys.. Thanks..

A far as foothills, i have bought a few things from there. No problems.

Question... why was the "back room" in Hickory closed today? No one back there?

Walked around briefly with a Taurus 357. Sold it.
Didn't find what I was lookin for at Hickory. So ended up purchasing from Foothills.
Very nice folks to deal with.. And next time I'll know to allow extra time for the inevitable
Gun Shop BS that seems to flow freely at any Emporium worth the powder to blow it away with.. 😁🤣
Didn't know how to ID the other CFF guys..

Back room has been closed the last several shows. No one want to go back there.

Gotcha... this was my first show since the prices started climbing. Last one I was at, the back room was open.

The really cools ones wear a sash. 🤓

But seriously folks…some of us have hats, shirts, etc. with the CFF logo. There’s a forum vendor that produces them when there’s sufficient demand.
 
Foothills is my go to gun shop. I like the old man and the sales guys. For a tiny building they have a large amount of guns. Very fair pricing, knowledgable salesmen, and no sales pitches. Carry top line to budget guns.

I started out the door for the gun show but my friend cancelled so I went to the neighbors auction.

The back room saga has been ongoing for 6 or 7 years, now. I'll explain it all to you sometime in person. Don't want to type it all out. lol
 
I bought a cool S&W 1911 from a guy in that back room. 🤓

I rarely went to the back room. People referred to it as the antique and tshirt room. I know a few years ago I suggested you move to the main room. Wonder how the gun show would feel about a vendor who had a couple girls and a pole?
 
How does this Hickory show stack up to the last one?
 
I almost forgot.. Did anybody else have the guy and his "Dad" s'posedly from Oregon try to buy from you?
He wanted to buy the 357. But when I asked to see a permit or CCW he said he didn't have one and said he had an Oregon DL.
No sale..

He tried to buy from a buddy of mine. No dice.
 
Stupid to take chances, my grandson lost his dollar store job when he sold smokes to an underaged undecover cop after nc changed the law. He failed to check her age. Not the same thing as getting in dutch with the feds and losing your livelihood and freedom but you just don’t take chances.
