Hi guys I just picked up my dad's old high country bow. It's in great shape and shoots great. For him.

But here is my proplem I need to shorten the draw on the bow. And I have no clue where to start it is a 30 inch draw and 65-70 pounds

I don't want to change the weight just make it shorter. Anyone on here that can point me in the right direction that would be amazing.

If you have not already check the strings and limbs really well. You can run a cotton ball over the limbs to look for cracks and splits. My guess is that string needs to be replaced. If you can find a shop to do it they might be able to do the DL too. I'm guessing you will need a press to change the DL if it's adjustable.

Cheifjason your right I looked it over and shoot it last weekend. It shot great but I can't shoot it like it sits. It has a 30 inch draw but I believe i need a 26/27 draw. I called high country and it's 130 bucks for the cams. I just don't know if it's worth it

There's a bow and gun shop in pilot mountain that should be able to fix you up. I cant recall the name at the moment . But solid guys there
