High quality, low cost custom Cerakote applicator in Huntersville, NC

Does the process hold up on polymer parts?

I haven't done multicam yet. I'll look into it and try it on one of my guns in a couple weeks. If you could please post a pic of the pattern you are looking for that would be very helpful.
Isn’t this multi-cam? :D

Not sure I’ve ever asked, and don’t want to assume...can you receive items shipped to you and then ship them back? Specifically silencer tubes and ends. I have somebody needing some work done, but he’s in Georgia.

Sorry, I can't. Since I have a day job, I'm not at home during the day to receive packages.

Had @Magdump do another small job for me. Put a Lil P on my Henry Big Boy X and liked it enough I bought another one for my 8.5” 300BLK AR pistol that goes in my GGG bag.

Here’s the mount he Cerakoted FDE:

Put it (FDE high mount) on the Henry next to the other one on a black low mount just for comparison:

Here’s the AR pistol with a TRS-25 on it, also with a base he Cerakoted, plus a silencer be refinished.

Quick question for those that have had Roy (or anybody else) Cerakote something for you. He’s done at least 10 silencers for me, and I’m working on another one. Most have been in Graphite Black, with three in Magpul FDE. All look fantastic.

But I want to do something a little different on this one. Just not the same matte black that the rest have. It’ll be going on a black gun (15-22 pistol), so I’m trying to stay somewhat in that family, but thinking some shade of darker grey instead. He said he had three colors in stock right now that fit that description. I ordered up samples of those three plus the Graphite Black so I could compare them. Here’s what there is:

L->R: Cobalt, Tungsten, Graphite Black, Sig Dark Grey

(wish is was sunny outside to get a better pic)

I don’t think the Tungsten is really as light as it shows in the pic. Both it and Cobalt have a glitter type appearance, while the SDG is matte like the GB.

Anybody have any input on what you like and/or don’t like about Tungsten or Cobalt if you’ve had work done in those colors?

What I really think I want to do is make the tube Cobalt and the ends Tungsten. 😎

Hi, I have a Glock 48 that I want to recolor the slide. I live in Stanley and work in Charlotte so could get it to you in person. Is that something you could do? Thanks.

I’m not a cameraman but I can say Roy does great work! Really good guy, fair, and quality craftsmanship. I’ll be back! He did a slide for me and this was end product.

@Magdump knocked it out again. This one is a Form 1 can built using a 4”x1.5” Ti tube and some Ti end caps that use a buffer tube castle nut wrench. The tube and threaded adapter are a slightly darker color (Cobalt) than the end cap (Tungsten). The samples showed a bigger difference in color, but nothing to complain about at all.

It just barely tucks inside the rail of my new 15-22 pistol after having the barrel cut down ~3/8” and the end cap modified:

I just wanted there to be no daylight. Very satisfied with the project!

Hey Are you still able to receive work Roy? Have some pistols like cerakote.

I had Roy Cerakote my new R9 to help with easy identification between it and my Res K. Once again, it came out great and pretty quick turn around.
Thanks to @BigWaylon for posting his pics of Cobalt and Tungsten, giving me a better idea of what I wanted. Ironically, I forget which one I chose 😂

Yeah, this stinks. I texted Roy a couple months ago hoping to get some stuff done. Any other reasonable options in the area?

The reason I tagged my friend was because he was thinking about getting some work done by a guy in Concord so I recommended Roy. The Concord shop is close to 2x Roy’s prices. PM me if you want the name, so I’m not trampling on Roy’s thread.

He definitely does/did great work and hooked my wife up with her two Shields cerakoted...one in prison pink and one in zombie green.

I will never forgive him for having those colors in stock 😂
