So HK has a new majority stake holder. It is a venture cap company from Luxemburg. It will be interesting to see where this leads. The success of the VP9 must not have moved HK into the black as much as they had hoped. Venture Cap has rarely been good for gun companies recently.

CDE takes over majority stake of H&K AG
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie; BMWi) has granted the shareholder Compagnie de Développement de l'Eau (CDE) S.A., Luxemburg the permit to acquire a majority stake in H&K AG on 15 July 2020. The management board of H&K AG (ISIN: XS0626438112 & XS0626436769 / WKN: A1KQ5P) was informed today, 17 July 2020, that the shareholder CDE owns a majority stake in H&K AG.

Maybe the new owner Will realize how much money they could make with the MP7 in America and open the market? LOL

somebody wake me up, I know I’m dreaming.

They got a major fine from Germany recently and were not allowed to bid on German contracts too

Hands down I’d take a mp7 in a heartbeat

They had some shady exports to places they were not supposed to sell to. But consider this, what else can a German gun maker do? There is no domestic market for guns in Germany, it's just a niche.

You guys asking for scraps with the P7s and MP7s, shoot for the stars here and give me a G11.

Merkel is doing her best to destroy the German firearm industry. I'm honestly surprised they don't keep at least one major brand for national production for their military. Even Blaser has been hit by their new rules.

Sad, but I really hope it pushes more of their manufacturing stateside.
