So I have a Holosun 407 on my G19, love it, clear as a bell.... shake awake, cool reticle....I just am happy with it. So my co worker at the gun store had recently purchased a Shadow Systems 9mm and put a Deltapoint on it. He's not happy with the Shadow Systems set up and wants to trade.....so I looked through the Delta point.....it was blurry as crap. I asked him if he thought it was blurry and let him look at my Holosun, and he agreed the Leupold was blurry too. Are they all like that? The dot just seemed really out of focus, and I can look at the Holosun right beside it, and its clear as a bell. I had never looked through a Deltapoint before, and was just really surprised. I did like the big window, for the blurry dot. :)

Not in my experience; I have two DPPs and they are very clear optics. That being said, out of all the MRDS I have, the DPPs are my least favorite. They are way to big and bulky and I don’t care for the brightness adjustment button.

I would definitely not make that trade if I were you.

Dumb question, but were you focusing on something near when looking at the DPP? I've had cases with my Holosuns where the reticle looks quite blurry if you are focusing something close (e.g. a wall 6 inches away). It goes back to crystal. Leaf when you focus on something far away though.

nope. Ive shot lots of the Pistol optics, this was really weird. It was across the room.

i’m no expert but my dot gets blurry when i have my reading glasses on

i also have one dot on a piston air rifle that is fuzzy or looks more like a blob now. i think it is from being beaten up by air rifle recoil.

I read one way to determine if the dot is blurry or it is the interaction between your eyes and the dot is to take your cell phone camera and look at the dot using its lens. If the dot is round and clear it is your eyes introducing the distortion.

When I was shooting my little Bergara 22lr I thought my nice Meopta scope and reticle was pretty shitty, i was not happy. After removing my sunglasses it suddenly was perfectly clear and crisp. Duh.

Are you sure it doesn't still have the little sticky protective film on it?

Honestly, I couldnt tell you. It wasnt obvious if it was, but that idiot might very well have left it on. LOL
