Horizontal line establishment by drone

Man, always wanted to do a Tyrollean traverse. I guess a ropes course counts, kind of. But depending on distance you may loose all the gear, can't get the tail end retrieved if you can't run a double line.

ETA - Yeah those 5000lb. buckles fail under bodyweight all the time.:rolleyes:

The producers lost that lawsuit too. Iirc it was Black Diamond that sued them for using their harness.

They should have been sued for making the movie at all. :D
The helicopter on the peak, and as an anchor point for the traverse no less, the failing gear.... It was too much to take. I turned it off immediately after that.

Isn't there a traverse near here, up in West Va. maybe? I can't recall the climbing area.
