So I thought I would share my latest experience for those wondering. . . I am by no means bragging, I am certainly not an expert (plenty of people better than me) but I ain't to bad neither ;-)

Keep in mind, this is an extremely limited comparison, I didn't have many rounds left. But I am surprised and impressed with the black. They are slightly cheaper than the match rounds, so I would say depending on the purpose, the black would be good for bulk/emergency storage for short-short medium range (out to 300 or 400 with confidence maybe). But I would need to do further testing out to those ranges. The good thing is my zero between the two models seem to be about the same.

These are 168gr A-Max, out of a Savage 10, 20" medium contour barrel, 5r rifling, stock accu-trigger, Choate tactical stock, harris bipod in the prone, vortex 4-16
100 yards, calm day.

Large Center Diamond - Hornady 168gr A-Max Match, 6 rounds, The left round is from a clean bore, remaining 5 rounds are grouped on the right. No Scope adjustments (ignore spelling)

Bottom Right Smaller Diamond - Hornady 168gr A-Max Black, 4 rounds, Scope was zeroed for the Match rounds.

Bottom Left Smaller Diamond - Hornady 168gr A-Max Black, 6 rounds, suppressed.Match vs Black.jpg Match vs Black Box.jpg

Nice! I'll have to give that a try.

anywhere from $5 - $8 a box. Plus, the black seems to be available more places, or atleast in stock.

I have shot the same but in 223. I have found that they both group awesome and they both are using the same 75gr hpbt bullet. I can find the black for $12 a box sometimes but the match is $20 a box. I've been buying the black :)
