Hornady Get Loaded promotion a scam?

So I just set up an account on Hornady.com to submit the receipt and UPC photos to get my free bullets. Once signed in to the hornady website you have to click a link to redeem the rebate. That pops up a new page and you need to sig in to that one as well. So, using the same set of credentials there pops up a user name invalid error.
I just sent them a nastygram about this. I was looking forward to 100 free bullets because it would make load development for a new rifle FAR cheaper. Anyboy have luck with this? Know of a way to submit by mail? I can't find that option on the website.

I did mine like 5 years ago, I don’t recall having issues logging in. Definitely not a scam since I did get my 500 bullets at the time.
Have you tried a PC, assuming your on mobile/tablet? Or vice-versa.

I have tried both.

I just got a reply from customer support. They need me to set up new credentials on the rebate page, which seems like BS. I already have a sign in, so my question to them is why do I need a different one? This is not a professional way to handle this.

I tried to set up new credentials. Since I already have a Hornady account it won't let me set up a Hornady account. I'm not about to give them a different email address.

I've been looking for someone to take out latent aggression on that's built up fom being in puppy prison for the past 8 weeks. This seems like a decent cause.

The rebate is probably handled by a 3rd party, so they need their own account setup for you. I had to do that when setting up my costco tire appointment.

I ended up having to use a different throwaway email account to register, which is a pile of doodoo. I'm expecting this not to work since their scanner couldn't find the 20 pt font Graf & Sons across the top and kept prompting me for a new photo.

As has been said, call them if you have issues. Hornady has one of the best customer service depts there is. They'll make it right, period.
