I have a Marlin with a magazine tube that needs rebluing. I was going to buy a new one and just swap it out but they seem to be discontinued everywhere.

Anyone know of a local service for this. It will be just the tube, which will be disassembled in advance.

Thanks.

A bottle of Tetra and follow directions, the finish will match. Just did a tube on an old Winchester, good stuff and easy to use.

I am also very interested if there is someone around here who is hot bluing that knows what they are doing. I have a smith and wesson model 39-2 that was my fathers and its needs some attention. I really want to get the slide blued to restore its look as it is currently pretty rough looking. Its more sentimental than collector and is a gun I know I will never willingly part with.

I think @Sharps40 had posted some very detailed descriptions of some of his hot bluing he did on some of his custom wheelgun projects.
