Houthis

Here we go. A wartime president has never lost reelection.

Neither had a President with a strong economy. And remember, things were on the upswing when Trump "lost". So while we are making history, let's make it again!

Oh, and that's not a war. At least, not yet.

That would be a COAB
I say no, drop the momma & provide high quality footage.
isLame is an EVIL ideology, check out their recent track record.
There is a similar piece that the Atlantic did some time ago about the real Islam being more or less DEATH TO ALL INFIDELS and heretical Islam being one of peace and love.

That might be true, but I bet most people, including a pot full of Democrats, would trust Trump over Biden to handle such a matter. I don't recall the Middle East being in such a state under Trump's 4 years.

I remember posting it here. A retired green beret friend that spent a bunch of time in the sand box sent it to me stating it was the best explanation he's seen.

Don't wanna hear any boomer complaining about the price increase of your Amazon tchotchkes because the snackbars sunk a container ship full of Iphone covers and knock off Crocs.

Trump put the Houthis on the terrorist list, Biden took them off the first day of his administration (I think). They are attacking AMCITs and US military. I have no issue with laying the smack down on them. That said, it'll be like squeezing water and just never stop.

What they’ve all learned is that we‘re soft and that as long as they remain mostly non-state actors we won’t do anything too bad. It’s not like they are working hard to pay for munitions, they get the stuff for free, so blowing it up is a short-term fix, but really just makes room for them get more.

For better or worse, we need to kill a lot of people if we want to even slow this thing down, and they aren’t all in Yemen.

The Saudis have been lobbing missiles at these guys for a while, wonder why they don’t get more serious.

Didn‘t the Houthis say they’d stop when the israeli‘s stop killing Palestinians? Seems there is a deal to be made. If only we had someone in our Gov’t that had the ability or desire to do so.

You think anyone is going to get the Israelis and Palestinians to knock it off?

Does Egypt get revenue from the Suez Canal?

How about some boomer advice? Sink every Iranian vessel that approaches Houthi territory and sink the Iranian warship that is trolling off Yemen's coast and spotting and providing targeting information for the Houthis.

Between drones, subs, USVs, etc., we could absolutely do that and maintain plausible deniability.

Based warhawk.

I agree. I know they have the intel capability, I wonder if the have the means.
I say we subsidize our ships to avoid the route and tell everyone else to handle it. I'm not for subsidizing anything, but at the rate we're spending it would be nice to see someone else fix an issue for once. No one over there wants us there anyways.

Yeah but that doesn't put any kickbacks in Sniffer Joe's pocket, get any Haliburton execs a new yacht or provide any new displaced kids for Globohomopedo to rape so we all know that's not going to happen.

Another reason why we, USA, shouldnt be involved in foreign entanglements.
