How do you collect a junk box for AR parts?

I usually just box what I have taken off a gun. Then start thinking about what would be needed to put another the gun together.
Tonight, I bought some a bunch of shims for timing a muzzle brake. Also I do not have a spare BCC that and I thought would be good to have on hand.

I do have 2 complete built lowers waiting on an upper and BCC. Might need to start looking for some flip up sights.

Might have 2 complete trigger groups with extra springs and a 8" 223 barrel in the box

About 3 years ago I started buying a bunch of springs and detents.

ALLWAY ON THE LOOK OUT FOR PARTS

If parts do not come available soon might have to scrap the idea of a 204 Ruger and 6.5 Grendel build.

I don't know, but I have 3 storage bins of AR parts.
and I have 4 barrels crammed under my desk waiting.

Take off stocks and hand guards go in a milk crate with the others. The latest lower sits on the desk waiting for a upper. Spare small parts are in a Plano box with roll pin punches and clevis pins. I haven't graduated to building uppers but that is on a bucket list.

Big rubbermade container with furniture, scope mounts, sling mounts and slings in the storage cabinet. Smaller rubbermade container with springs, pins, triggers, and various odds and ends lower stuff in the cabinet also. I usually just get complete uppers or buy individual parts as I build one but there is an even smaller container in the cabinet with BCGs, muzzle devices, debris doors and springs and whatnot. Just semi-organized chaos really.
