How to find your Red Dot

I think the key is if you are going to run a dot then commit to it. There is a learning curve. For me I now only have x1 semi auto w/o an optic. They are also easier for my wife to grab and use
 
Train, train, train. So many people try a RDS and think it’s the same as irons. Sight fixation and target fixation are different.
 
Practice drawing the pistol and bringing it up on target(s)- incorporate into some dry fire
BUT you must use live fire as well - you can get to a point where you are able to “track” the dot while shooting
