How to get info

Ok guys. Not too far from my house is the Sumter national Forest, that's where the Leeds rifle range is. From what I can tell it is a very large place with lots of trails and places to explore. I'm trying to find out if I can camp there, where I can camp, and do you have to have a permit? Never camped in a national Forest before. Is there a ranger station there that would have the info I need? I can't seem to find alot online. Sorry for stupid questions but I have told ask someone

Sorry brother - I ended up making a impromptu drive to MO and just got back last night. Tennessee is a friggin long state to drive through, especially when there was at least 4 wrecks on 40 that backed traffic up for miles and added a couple hours to the trip - Ughhhh
