how to re-post an attachment?

If I've already uploaded an image and want to use it in another thread how do I do that without uploading it again?

I get this:

instead of an image.

Good question. I ran into that issue before and don’t think I ever asked.

for example, I use the same gif in all the welcome threads...seems to be a waste of space to upload it each time

I went to the original post,
hit reply,
copied the url for the pic,
Went to the new pist,
Hit the “attach image” button
Pasted the url into the “url” box.

That was my second attempt, you can’t just paste the url into the post.

no need to hit reply, just get the pic url

All I did was go to the image and right click on it and copy the image and paste here.
