I was given a humidor that has a tray in it and probably hold 150 cigars (might have 30 in there). On the inside lid it had slips to put 4 humidifiers envelopes in there. I could never get the humidity over 70%. When looking through CigarPage.com (I been buy cigar from them) I noticed a humidifier (Crystal 75 Cigar Humidifier) in there so I bought 2 (2 per back). Filled them with distilled water and within a couple of days I was at 75%. I wanted to get the wood a little wetter so I order a couple of more and stuck 1 in there for a couple more days and it keep the humidity at 82%. Just pulled the 3rd one out. Hoping that the wood is wet enough to stabilize the humidity at 75%.
Also, I got a travel humidor with a built in humidifier. It looks like a Pelican case and holds 5 cigars. Not sure how to check if it holds the humidity but I do not have to worry about the cigars getting crushed or bent.
