Deploying to Columbus county tomorrow morning with work to ride out the storm and to assist the local fd in the days after. Going to be gone up to 7 days. Make sure you keep all of the residents of Nc, The first responders who are deploying and those who are staying to protect the home front and their families ( like my wife and child) who they will be way from in your prayers! I know if we needed help here the favor would be returned just as god would want!

Been here I. Whiteville since Thursday. Things are pretty bad around here. Lots of flooding. Between our guys from HP and the Whiteville fd and ncng we rescued 70 people last night from flood waters. Keep all these folks and the Rescue workers in your prayers!

Thanks to you Z and your brave colleagues.

Praying all is OK. We appreciate the help here in Columbus Co. Columbus County got hammered last night with rain causing major flooding. Many people land locked or stuck at homes in water. Rivers not cresting until Thursday. Evacuations all over the county last night.

We were very busy. Finally got home last night they sent some guys down to replace us. We spent the storm and the following days I. Whiteville and the got moved to Lake Waccamaw. There’s a lot of people who will need lots of help. My group of 9 and the local fd rescued over 200 from the flooding. Sure is nice to be home but there’s lots more work to be done there.

I want to thank all those from all over the country for helping us out. My neighborhood didn't get flooded but know a lot of people that were not that lucky. I drove by my old neighborhood in North Chase and it was sad to see all the debris on the street. If we would have still lived there we would have been one of them. My chimney was torn off and flooded my kitchen, breakfast area and living room. All demoed out and dehu and air scrubber running. We were not there during so it sat wet for several days.

Just saw this thread @Zbizzle911 and appreciate your support in our neighboring county of Columbus. I worked really closely with the Colorado Task Force 1 who were deployed here to Robeson County on Day 1 of Hurricane Florence. Awesome people and it was really impressive to read their support detail report inside our Incident Action Plan each day that we were in Emergency Search and Rescue status in our county.

Thank you again sir.

We ended emergency ops on 9/23. All efforts then transitioned to disaster relief, food and supplies distro, and the required FEMA reporting quagmire that we will be immersed in for the next 18-24 months once again. We've never really recovered from Hurricane Matthew and this one came in with another butt-kicking fury to our region.

Yeah it was pretty bad where we were. My brother was in fair bluff with my vollie dept. It was pretty bad too. Our church too up donations and we took them last Friday there and gave them two truck loads of stuff. We will definitely keep y’all in our prayers! We plan on going back to fair bluff in the next month or two and feeding the community

Great of you guys to do that. Fair Bluff, NC and Nichols, SC were simply devastated again. Hurts to even see the pics coming out of there.
