Drove back from Savannah, left my glock beside the microwave at the rental...

Tired and packing the car... forgot the last thing to get.

Talked to manager, they have it, owner will be back tomorrow (and a concealed carry holder also per the manager) will call me back tomorrow and work out if he will mail it to a ffl or Friday, I might be doing a round trip back.

Not how I wanted to finish my vacation

Ummm, how come the gun wasn't in a holster attached to your belt? Not trying to be a smart-a**, just curious.

It’s in the holster still. Got up, put my shorts on, gathered up stuff, and forgot to put it back on, by the time I was 4 hours away, it came to me.

I hope it makes its way home to you safely.

4hrs? I would have turned around then and there. I figure you were about Columbia.

If they can’t mail it back to me, I will drive down and get it. It will take about 10 hours of driving around trip to do it.
I've roundt-ripped Savannah a number of times. Once I drove down, worked all day emptying my son's apt., packed a car, drove back. Turned around and did it again the next weekend, finishing up, including a clean. The drive isn't too bad.

@KnotRight is in Savannah. He might be able to help.

MadMardigan, that is what happens to members that comes to Savannah and not give me a call. I getting a huge collection of left behind firearms. THANKS, I will shoot it regularly.
I’ll give you $50 for it.

I’m sure I can sell it to @draco88. :D

I had no clue you was in Savannah, LoL. I was on Tybee Island technically.

My cousin left his on top of his car and drove off, and police found it in the road.

Also a Glock. It's almost like folk's subconscious is telling them to leave the ugly girl back at the dance.
It's them ugly gals that work extra hard to make sure you're happy and taken care of.

Big of you to admit to this. Mistakes happen, fortunately this has a good ending.

Yeah, it was a butt pucker. I was 4 hours away and was like, ummm, something doesn’t feel right.

Whenever we spend the weekend at my folks house at the beach I always hide my carry pistol in a cupboard out of reach to anyone shorter than me. There have been many many times I have had to remind myself to get it. Especially when you are packing, loading, wrangling kids, saying goodbye to people, cleaning up, and everything else that goes with it.

Exactly what happened, it was up by the microwave, which is out of reach of my 4yo

I freaked out one day when I got to work and had my holster on but it was empty. I had forgotten that I put my gun in the safe because my daughter had a friend over. I just grabbed it as always and threaded it on. I then had the embarrassment of walking around with an empty holster all day.
