To C&E:
To whom it may concern, Wow. I mean WOW!! $9.00 EACH for my 13 year old daughter and myself to get in the show. $18.00 total just to walk in. And after that, I noticed that an entire HALF of the building was empty. The one half that was was, a good 40% of the sellers/tables were purses, candles, coins, jewelry, etc. (NON-Firearms related). This is unacceptable. This is ONE of the many reasons that the shows are dying out. I'd like a refund. Either $18 cash in an envelope, a check or send it paypal. If not, no big deal. I will not be attending another event by C&E and will make sure to post on social media about the quality of your shows anymore. A very unsatisfied customer.
From C&E:
Thank you for your feedback. I hate to hear that you were not happy with the show this weekend as we were up against the Ashville Gun Show and a lot of the vendors split between us and MK Shows. I do not have a way to do a refund but I would be happy to mail you a couple of free passes to attend any one of our gun shows and any location in the future. If you would be interested in the free passes please let me know and I will get those out to you today.
My reply:
I think I'll just pass. It seems more and more the show admission is going up, the shows are getting smaller, and there are too many vendors not selling firearms related merchandise. C&E shows are scratched off my list and Dixie ain't too far behind too.
From C&E:
I am sorry you feel that way.
My reply:
It's not how I "feel", it's a fact. You charged $9 for a person to get into a show that was just as much candles, cigars, coins and jerky then it was guns. This show at that location has been this way for a few years. Until a fair admission price is charged and some form of guarantee is placed that firearms related items are only sold, I'm out. And the sentiment with other shooters and collectors is growing.
From C&E:
We had 1 table with candles, we had a few with jerky and two gentleman with cigars. I feel sure that we are not the only gun show that puts other things into the show. We try to allow the women something to look at while they are there as well. We offer a wide variety of items for sale as do most gun shops. I have been to gun shops and stores and they have t-shirts, cigars, knives and several other items for sale as well. Good luck finding somewhere that sells only guns!
I just stopped right there. The show was a joke. And a good 1/4 to 1/3 oft what was on the tables was bullshit. She neglected to reply with the coin dealers, purse and wallet table, the decorative metal work table, and a few others. IDK, maybe I am in the wrong. But dammit, I pay for a gun show, I expect a gun show.
