I’m wasting time loading 223

I look at reloading like any other valuable skill. You need to learn as much as you can including your own limitations.and you make time to exercise it every time you can.

Some people don't bother to reload 38 special either since its "so cheap" to buy. Yeah not anymore. At 4.5 cents per round (my brass and lead are basically free) with my cast 158 SWCs,
these loads are cheaper than some bulk rimfire costs.

I'm retired and dont sleep much so reloading 223 is a way to pass the time. Case prep is a PITA and takes a lot of time. I've logged 10K rnds on my 650 and have probably chewed up 4 full length resizing dies. Having said all that, I dont think I'm going to load Go Bang ammo anymore on junk brass and blem bullets. I love shooting tight groups too much. Loaded some 69 and 77 grain SMK with Sierra accuracy load data and shot 5 shots groups against Federal Gold Medal Match 69 and 77 ammo. My loads shot 1/4" tighter groups than the factory stuff out of 20" S&W Performance Center AR.

10,000 rnds? that's not much and you've ruined 4 FL resizers? I'd suggest you clean your sizer die often, it should last at least 100,000 rnds.

I enjoy reloading and casting. Buy in bulk and stack deep. During the .22LR shortage a few years ago I was shooting full power .41 mag cheaper than a rimfire round.
