That didn’t know H&R makes an AR or M16 or whatever? I mean, yeah, I’m a gen-x boomer red neck hick that’s way outta touch, but I literally had no idea. I thought they only made single shot shotguns…😂

It’s a whole setup with Mike from H&R running NoDak Spud, which was bought by PSA’s parent company JJE Holdings…or something close to that description.
During wartime lots of suppliers make armament. H&R was already a firearm company and made AR pattern rifles as well as Colt. When I was active duty in the 80’s I carried a Vietnam era M16A1 that was built by GM’s Hydramatic Division.
I love PSA but pretty much anything not their traditional AR platform is 'expensive'. The dagger is the one product that is excluded but everything else is no longer cheap enough to say "jus as gud"
