I want to make some snap caps out of blue or colored bullets so I can easily recognize them vs real bullets and still have the weight and feel of live rounds. So I asked if anyone had some to spare so I would not have to buy 250 which is what I say on Blue Bullets since I only needed a few. Within minutes someone asked how many do you need. I ask for 10 9mm and 10 45 ACP and said let me know how much to send him. I asked again today about how much I owed and @Apache 4rank simply replied Merry Christmas. It is a small gesture but at the same time a simple act of kindness.

I asked another member for their thoughts on a particular some what rare pistol today and got a great detailed response. The breathe of knowledge and information on this little forum, compared to some of the bigger ones, never ceases to amaze me! There is almost no gun related subject someone on here can't answer.

It is a fun, diverse, opinionated, intelligent and sometimes frustrating group but what family isn't frustrating.

This is one of the most awesome groups of people anywhere on the planet. It's like they are waiting for an opportunity to help others and their day is complete.

Life is good my friend...…..life is so good when you're connected to the right people for the right reasons.

This is absolutely the truth.

Gutters clean as a whistle. Wouldn't even take gas money.

But he will eat good for a bit.

I can’t say enough good things about folks on the forum.

I won’t give specific names but if they chime in that’s more than ok with me.

Needed an extra pair of hands to help move somethings in the workshop. Within 20 mins forum member was at my house and also helped me unload a bunch of stall mats.

The other awesome story is a grading guy left us in a bad way after he didn’t finish a job for our row barn like he said he would. Through some local guys we knew I got a recommendation. He made time to get out to fix the other guys works pretty quick... like next day quick because our barn was in transit.

Found out yesterday that he’s an OG from even before I was on the forum. Small world and he helped me in a bind when it mattered most.

This forum is awesome. It’s filled with the kind of people I’d trust my life to...but I would never leave my drink or my phone unattended with.

Cant remember the details, but I recall a thread back this summer where someone needed help with getting a safe from the driveway to inside the house.
Iirc, it was about two or three hours from batsignal to mission complete.
This place really is pretty special.

Yeah, I found a leather sewing machine today at an antique store. Called Curt and talked to him for an hour about it and leatherwork in general. And it’s not the first time I’ve picked his brain on leather.

Great group of folks here. I’ve met a lot selling holsters too. Always a good time shooting the breeze while I’m working on something for them.
