If you visited the AR pic thread, you may have seen my newest completed AR puzzle. It was a 7.5" SBR in 7.62x39. Now, look at the pic closely.

Did you look at it? Maybe zoom in on it and take another peek and tell me how I did this:

And this:

I'll give away the answer in a few, but as a hint, I launched the Specwar at least 20'.

Lock ring not tight?

I've never used my ASR mount. I use a YHM or direct thread on my Omega. Is it possible to tighten the lock ring without the suppressor being screwed all the way on? I know the Saker Trifecta mounting system has that issue.

Surely you didn't launch the can downrange with the ASR brake (or FH) inside of it...

I was going to say you tried 220gr SMK subs and they did not stabilize, but i see steel cased ammo in the pic.

How many round before this happened?

Also anyone else notice the snake in that picture with the finger?

Well one thing I noticed is that the first picture shows a different handguard vs the 2nd picture. Wrong round down the wrong can because it was mounted on the wrong gun?

This is the right answer.

The can felt screwed on all the way, so I turned the lock nut. Since the lock nut was tight, I made an assumption everything was GTG.

A quick visual would have let me know the suppressor wasn't all the way on.

Wasn't unlocked entirely before mounting, you locked it tight where it wasn't engaged properly

Nice end cap kiss

Send it back to SilencerCo and look into KeyMo mounts

Yep.

Same handguard, rifle, etc.. The pics are from different perspectives.

I have the same mounts on both the 300blk and 7.62 upper. My plan was to just swap the can.

Also, I have one 10rd Magpul mag for the 300blk and two CDP 10rd steel mags for this upper..... for a reason.

When you get it back from SilencerCo it will probably be 1/8" shorter. They will cut the ends off, install new baffles in the tube, weld the ends back on and
refinish. No charge for the first mistake.

I just submitted their form for repair. They could lop off an entire inch if they wanted. Lol.

@kcult , man I feel horrible for you. I would be miserable if that had happened to me. Hope they get you a quick turn around.

Thanks. The crappy part for me was I had a 10rd mag loaded for my daughter to shoot, but that didn't happen. :(

Pictured is 8M3 HP. My intentions were to dial this in at roughly 80yds and shoot hogs coming to the feeder.

Is a bi-metal jacketed HP the right bullet for hogs? Seems like there are much better choices. That ammo is barely minute of hog at 100 yds right?

I was planning on sighting in at 80yds, but honestly, if they come to the feeder, I'm sitting on top of them.
