I love canning ammo

As for the dessicant packs - I get free, small ones at home depot. They come in a lot of their packaging and they just toss them out

Giving you guys another reason to think I’m crazy, but if I’m reloading for ammo that will likely be stored for more than a year, or if I’m repacking factory ammo into sealed containers, I only do it during periods of very low humidity.

I dont think that's crazy, a year is a long time for ammo to be stored in a metal container, rust is bad in our hobby. :)

I do that with all the ammo I'm storing in "the stash". I used to worry it would ruin the resale value, but who am I kidding? I won't sell ammo, that's not allowed. Pretty sure when I die my friends will stop by and take all those heavy cans away so Mrs. Jayne doesn't have to deal with them. I have such good friends.

I dont think it runs resale value, you're paying for the metal and powder, not the paper
