I LOVE THESE BULLETS - Rocky Mountain Reloading

10 cents each.
Is there a reason you prefer these over poly coated @ 7 cents each?

Just curious if your use actually requires FMJ.

I prefer the FMJ for 9mm major due to its crimp requirement, but for general use, I can't say enough good things about the poly coated.

Ive always liked RMR products but the new 124gr JHP is one I don't care for. They designed it way too blunt nosed for my needs. Have to load it incredibly short for my CZ's. I much prefer TJ Conevers JHP profile, way more tapered, I can load quite a bit longer, and the last time I bought them they were a little cheaper, but I see the price has gone up a little since then. Best bang for the buck in JHP bullets I think is still Precision Delta, order 2k or more and they are 8.9 cents each delivered.

The RMRs are great when there is a coupon code of 6% or 10% off. I've loaded a crap-load of them and they are just fine under most circumstances. If you are loading for a short chamber like the CZs, Tanfos or the 9mm carbines, you really can't beat the Precision Deltas. As mentioned with the Precision Deltas, order them at 2K rounds or more for the best price.

I use a lot of RMR bullets. (BTW, there is a standing 5% discount for THR forum members, which I always take advantage of.)

@dave33 is correct about the profile of this bullet, though. I have to seat very short to fit my guns. It would be a great bullet (I think) for 357sig, that can also be used in a pinch for 9mm.

I mostly use their 9mm plated bullets, but their 115gn FMJ is freaking awesome in my 9mm carbine. 1500fps from 16" with a mid-range charge of Power Pistol, very consistent 1.1" @ 50 and about 2.5" at 100. 7.5 cents each, shipped.

I use RMR quite often. Thousands of 9mm and 45. Every once in a while I might have a bad bullet but not very often. I have some 308 that I have not opened yet. Hope they are as good as the other stuff I have ordered.

I'm a newb when it comes to reloading but I've only used RMR plated 147gr/9 and 185gr/45. Great prices, no issues, and the 9mm does well suppressed.
