I need a scope base for a savage rascal

We bought our 5 year old daughter a rascal a few months back and have been searching high and low for the scope base... Seems to be out of stock/back ordered everywhere. I've had an order placed through OpticsPlanet for a month now and hasnt shipped...

Does anyone know of any other options to mount a scope on this thing? I dont know why its so hard to find a base, I guess they quit making them?

Evolution Gun Works is where I got the mount for my boy's Crickett. They have a model listed for the Rascal but I don't know if they have a live inventory or not. It doesn't show out of stock.

I like this one. If for some reason the scope fails, remove the scope and you will be able to use the iron sights. It's one piece, strong and not so bulky looking.
