Like title says I just need to garage composite rails cut. Lowe's will only cut wood. I cannot imagine it would take long.

Are these pre-assembrlbed engineered composite beams? If so, I’d be real careful with that. Might look into whether or not the manufacturer is ok with it.

Can you borrow a hand saw or circular saw (preferably 40+ tooth count blade) from a friend, neighbor, or coworker?

Seriously, you don't have a hand saw? I don't think I've heard of that before... o_O

We should take up a collection to get you a hand saw. Better yet, we can suggest a very expensive one as it's not our $ (what we do best). :)

(Just joking)

I never had a saw of any kind. Where we lived before was located on grandpa's land and I just used his tools.

I'm pretty sure I found someone to do it.

We've got a band saw at my dad's shop you could use if needed. It's in Mooresville. I think that would be your best bet of what I have. A circular saw would probably be harder to work and not cut as clean.

It is hard to believe you are from West Virginia after a post like this.

Yeah, I was going to say something similar. You are from WVA and can't cut a piece of plastic! Come on man! I could see it if you were from NY, NJ, CT or CA but WVA! What's the world coming to? :D

I’m not far from you in Claremont. If you don’t find someone, bring it do n to my shop. I’m sure I’ve got something to cut it with.

A modest investment in oneself, tools and education (youtube?), can save a home owner much money quickly.

I have some of those rails to hang stuff in my garage. For when I don't want to fire up the power tools, I have an under-$10 plastic miter box and saw, and it cuts those rails just fine (it cuts a LOT of stuff just fine, if you just need a few cuts). It helps a LOT to have a bench to secure the box.
