I didn't raise much of a ruckus over there. But, I did spend my time multi-tasking during the MNF game last night. Was able to delete about 700 posts before the Delete button magically disappear. So, I continued on just editing posts to either say "Canadians" or just "." Made it through another couple hundred before I quit. My Subscribed status expires on 1/8, and no way it's getting renewed.

I was much less active on NCGO, but edited all 150 posts over there last night as well.

Yeah, moving forward is the smart play. We've had a couple of days to get it out of our system. They want us to keep posting there to keep the Toronto Star Forum relevant - let's not give in to the temptation.

drypowder is hereby notified to cease and desist using my CSC avatar of a moose crapping in a maple syrup collection bucket.

After I found sore's earlier statement about people's posts, I had no hesitation in deleting as many of my CSC posts as possible. I had previously contributed to CSC freely in the belief that it was a mutual effort of like-minded gun owners. I certainly contributed vastly more to CSC than I ever do to clearly for-profit websites and I did not make that contribution for the personal enrichment of the "owners" who sold CSC.

At any rate, I have reclaimed as much of my content as I could, although I am miffed that one of the most sensitive pieces of information on any gun-related site -personal gun sales information- is firmly shut off from removal. While I do not intend to boycott CSC, I simply find little reason to want to participate on that site.

I logged out a couple weeks ago but went back to look around while CFF was down and got a chuckle at some of you guys messing with them over there.
I honestly have no axe to grind with anyone there. It was a great forum but that changed when they sold it. I see this place being what CSS was.
