While thinking about building an AR 15 with a 20" barrel a couple questions have come up"
What length is a carbine, mid-length and rifle length tube?
When looking at gas blocks (low profile), are there certain size ports for each size gas tube/barrel length and port size for each?
Assuming the tube should be stainless steel
The gas block should be a clamp style? And what material is best?
What to look for with the forward assist?
Why is one ejection cover as good as the other.

Is there really any difference between the bolt locking pin and the magazine release button?

One day I will get most of the small parts and tools together, then that is when the problems begin,
After that one is built, the problem is the next one gets easier and the 3rd one even easier.
