This isn't a pants down moment. This is a sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you.

As as you can imagine all of us were blindsided by this and the staff, in particular, after years of pouring our hearts into, what we thought, would remain a locally owned and operated shooting and 2a forum (for free I might add) felt completely betrayed and felt like we had failed this group by not seeing what was clearly going on in front of us.

To see the responses in that sanitized thread, and to know that the vast majority of you were just as upset and for the exact same reasons made me realize that I love this group of people and will continue to do everything in my power to support what we all believed we had there.

I know I speak for every one of the staff members in this new venture when I say that your goals and ours are the same. And I'll be damned if what happened over there will happen here.

I spent many years after leaving the Marine Corp looking for the same type of camaraderie that I had there and in 10 years found 3 close friends. That's it.

Within 6 months of joining CSF I found 4 more and the number has grown from there to where I can honestly and proudly say that I have at least 20 close personal friends that I would do anything for and the feeling is mutual. Even if that meant burying a dead hooker.

So again, from the bottom of my perverted heart, thank you.

Chad.

Only if we're really sure she's dead. Otherwise, we're going to the crematory.

I'm proud of everyone who stood up over there and gave them the big ole middle finger now I wish I had put all those middle fingers in my post in that thread! Chad if theres anything I can do to help please let me know!

Can I be your friend now,,,,I remember when I joined CSF/CSC there was someone talking shit about you a lot. (nc reptile IIRC). So I watched what you said because I didn't now what the story was. You turned out to be fine in my book.

I'm ready for my hug now.

I echo those sentiments. I'm just a little disappointed at the keeping my pants up part.

Lol. Yeah that was him. He blamed me for getting banned when it was a joint decision. He wanted someone to blame and I didn't care so I let him keep thinking it was just me.

Just wanted to clarify, because I'm sure OTHER inquiring minds want to know, does 'dead hooker' encompass dead shemale hookers?

Damn right I'm with y'all. Some serious friends has come from this place, and will remain. No dollar will ever get in that way.

principals....character....you rotten bastards have what I like

If you need a few minutes alone with he/she/it, just say the word... we're all friends here.

I don't know about all that mushy crap but when I showed up at CSF a l o n g time ago I felt welcomed. It wasn't a pants down thing but I managed to make my way into the group. The crap at CSC blindsided all of us so don't feel too bad about that. Instead of looking backward let's look forward to what this forum can offer and seeing it grow, just like we saw CSC grow after CSF...... ONWARD AND UPWARD!!

I think love is a little premature. You haven't even had me yet. Cocky mutha ain't you. :p

There's always been something appealing to me about "locally owned and operated" with this group of fine folks. It's nice to know that there are respectable (some disrespectable!) 'Mericans in my community that share similar values. The thought of that being SOLD to some corporate entity who is only interested in making a buck is rather nauseating. I'm quite happy that we held onto what's important and maintained unity.

Now, can we talk about Fieldgrade having a ban hammer? It could cause his arthritis to flare. ;)

I have no arthur-itis, and I've found the closet where the banhammer is.

Has silver bullet turned yet??

Bury a dead hooker? He'll, I do that for out of town relatives that I don't even like. You wanna prove your love to me, we gotta bury a live one!

I didn't hesitate to pop smoke and ditch that place free hearing the news

But I was genuinely upset to lose the friends. I'm extremely glad we've got a new place to keep it going

Oh yea. He's probably in an undisclosed location posting under a pseudonym. lol

This was a wonderful excuse to wear my tricorn hat all day.

I haven't had a chance to meet some of you on here but I did meet quite a few on the other site but I look forward to getting on here daily to keep up with everything like I did on the other one. I am grateful that you all took the time to start this new one and I have no doubt it will be as good if not better than the old one. Thanks again and I look forward to meeting some of you guys in the near future!

After getting Wyatts & SilverBullet's PM, I knew it was done. Then reading Fieldgrade's posts, there wasn't even a decision to make. I go where I am wanted. Ed and Neil would have at least said something to you guys (staff) if they cared. Chad, you are an honerable guy. While I missed the cookout due to my dad's 75th birthday, I truly hope I get the chance to shake your hand. (Just please wash it first). Seriously if you guys had not even wanted me to come here, I would NOT have stayed there. They pissed on us members, they totally shit on you staff members.

I now feel all tingly in my nether regions.... and its not just from the crabs!

bahahahahaha!!!

The way it went down was shady which truly means they fully understood what the reactions would be. My wife, who trusts no one, has said your forum friends are truly good people. That has shown true even in this event. Im glad the like minded folks have said the same things I've felt.

You at least got a text. LOL

I was in the dentist chair when a mod started texting and calling at noon. The hygienist said, "Sounds important."
I said, "Let me check to see if it involves blood or smoke."
Turns out it did.

While I was sad to see the events that have transpired elsewhere it is awesome to see good people step up to the plate and start again. I look forward to seeing another beautiful creation rise from the depths........I better be careful or Chad will get the wrong idea! LOL!
