I agree with everything that Chad said and I'm very happy to see all of you over here. You guys are/were CSC. Some of you I have met, the rest of you, I hope to meet someday. I feel confident that any where that we all end up will be a better place and that's because of all of you. Thanks to every one of you.
And, why would anyone want to bury a dead hooker?

It was less about his posts, and more about them trying to point the finger at him ("asked to be deleted").... and getting called out for the lies. Honestly never thought I'd see that on CSC.

I mentioned it another post, so sorry for the duplication. Neo was never, ever "in the forum" commenting in the four years I was there. He appeared when big IT stuff was going down, or worked behind the scenes, although by his post count he was once very active. That said, it is quite possible that when he appeared in the middle of the melee last night that he made a best guess while trying to keep the peace.

Or maybe he lied. Honestly, their transgressions and affronts to staff and the membership far outweighed that in my view, but yes, what he said was outright wrong, and I was pretty dang PO'ed at that point, so I just called it what it was. It stayed posted till they flushed most that thread today.
 
Seriously y'all. I have to echo what Chad said...

We put our hearts and souls and an absolute assload of time with CSC to be screwed over and shafted like that was a complete insult. I guess we expected that words spoken were truth, but instead we found out all it really takes is some money to sell out your friends and basically say F-you to all the people that made the place what it was.

To that I say OH-EFFING-WELL

We will make this place what it was before someone saw (canadian) dollar signs and started making it better for the sale. EFF that, not here.

FWIW, at least it's not all for naught. This community, wherever it goes, would not exist without the work we put in. Just because we moved after the storm that destroyed the house doesn't mean the family ceases to exist.

I'm really glad drypowder was able to fire off an email to me last night. Seriously, thanks a lot. I was sincerely worried (especially given geographic separation) that I would lose my link to this community.
 
I was pissed on how it went down. There are still members there that I like and sections that I will visit. Once the catbox is up and running here I'm going to be hooked. Thaks guys for building this site. I don't know who is running it, but thank you again.
 
I just want to say thanks for getting this new forum started. I also have no appreciable computer skills but I'd gladly pay a subscription fee to help keep it going.
 
Dang, you guys are on the ball, glad to be back a part of something I looked forward to doing every day, checking in to see what was stirring on CSC. Are you guys wanting a few more members, I have had several PM me wanting to know where to come?
 
I've been a quiet one over at CSC for a while, but have always enjoyed watching yall's lowlife banter....Im in.....for helping to bury the hooker that is!!!

The guys are working on it still. This is only a 1.5 day effort. Glad to have you aboard!

I completely understand. You guys are doing a great job so far. I'm just trying to get used to a new site. It's refreshing to see it and I hope it becomes big.

I am genuinely impressed at the effort you guys have put into this new board and it just shows me how the community is more than just a website; it's a group of people doing life together. I haven't posted about guns in weeks, and that's okay because we're all still enjoying the community.

I am thrilled that Chad and everyone else is here and I hope many more join us.
