I want a pretty gun

That SA 9mm Loaded in the BST right now is the cats pajamas. It's not a rail gun, but I will tell you its a great deal for the money, and a sexy looking gun as well. If I had the spare cash, Id own that gun.

That is very nice. But Brown's SS guns are the shizzle. Their SS finish must have magic pixie dust in it or something.

1st pic I found with a rail. All his stuff rocks. I like his bobtail stuff. Had him do one for me about 10 years ago. Pretty sexy pistol...

When I bought my Les Baer I was fondling the Baer and a Brown. It was a tough call. The Baer was probably $500 less so I went that route with no regrets. Something about the Baer just felt right. But the Brown was awesome. Hopefully someday.

I have a hard time seeing "pretty" with a rail.. Its like seeing a prom queen who's missing a few teeth, but I digress.

I say find what flavor of CZ75 you like (they make them with rails too) and have at it!

@Majicmike bought something "pretty" a year or two ago. Maybe he will post a pic of that HiPoint for us. I think it had fish scales, glitter... and OH, a flame paint job. Or something or other. lol

Looking at either a CZ SP01 or a Springer Operator, as they do pop up for sale. I know the CZ is a solid performer, and it sounds like you can get a lot of gun for the money on the Springer. And the Custom shop from Springfield or any other builders if I am wanting more.

Decocker or safety cz sp01?

Oh that one stays. Sp01s for me are like most folks Glock 19. I have several...way more than I'd like to admit.
But for twenty dollars I'll tell y'all how many...
...because twenty dollars is twenty dollars.

These are both great pistols (meet your criteria of "pretty," rail, and 9mm).

Sometimes I really hate you. You have been known to put bad thoughts into men's brains.

^^^^

Oh, by the way...if you do go retro, don't be afraid to shoot the d*mn thing. Here's my first target for this baby, in deliberate, full, and open defiance of numbers 1, 2, and 3:

The high polished Stainless CZ75 looks like a jewel. I picked this up several months ago and it is solely a HD range gun.
It doesn't have a rail though.

I was really looking a 92 a bit ago, and it's still high on the radar as well. And just like a 1911, can be made to have a very nice trigger and be a fun shooting gun!

A good friend just told me he is thinking of selling something that meets all your specs ... a vintage early 1980's Sig P210-6! I am talking the true Swiss spec'd model in 95% condition w/ everything from box to test target to Sig patch. Near perfect matte black finish with beautiful walnut grips and 2 factory mags.

Nice!

I'm a SC resident, but unfortunately I've got other obligations I need to meet first.

And they ain't going to get any easier in the near future: our son starts college in 2 1/2 weeks, our oldest daughter starts next year, and our youngest two years after that.

My Avitar is my pretty gun,, This is a Springfield purchased new by me back in 1983. Used this gun that was finished in a really nice polished blue in many IPSC comps until I was finally sponsored in the semi pro ranks and provided with a finer weapon and leather gear. Fast forward to 3 years ago when I decided to reward my old 45 to a hard chrome bright polish thinking I would like a pretty gun.
Now, I hate even shooting it, dont like the silver flash in my sight as it recoils. After just a few rounds ,it looks dirty. Wish I just left it alone..
I bring it out to the range, people say " Wow, thats nice"
Yeah, I guess.... Now Its a safe queen.
