I'd been considering selling my 38 snub.

However, I've changed my mind. If Harriss gets into office (If poor old dumb Joe is elected he'll be in a nursing home within three months.) She'll do what every other communist that has come to power has done. First she'll go after firearms and then she'll go after free speech, what little is left of it. They'll be working on the ARs before Joe comes into office. Next to go will be any firearm capable of holding more than six or seven rounds. There go the various rifles and shotguns. Remember, capable. You can put a 10 round mag in a 1911. You can extend that mag on your mossberg to hold nine rounds. Your Ruger 1022 can hold 25+ rounds.
I think for awhile I'll be able to keep my little snub in the house. By the way, this terroristic forum will be gone. I know several guys who say they won't give up their firearms. I know two that I go shooting with that absolutely mean it.
To most of you this probably sounds like pure bullshit. I hope you're correct. On the other hand read about Germany in the early thirties. Herr Hitler promised those people everything... until he was elected (made chancellor). Then...
I saw movie several years ago (I had to look it up, Portrait in Evil ) that gives a slight look at what it was like. Remember, it's a movie so it doesn't even come close. If you have anyone you know that escaped Castro ask them what it's like in a communist dictatorship, if they'll talk about it.

&^^^^^^^

This is why I have been gathering and making preps for me and my family. I would hope that you have done the same. No one will force march my family into box cars if they have anything to say about it.

I'm definitely not a history buff, far from it. But, the examples given, they all seem to be of homogeneous populations, mostly. Am I wrong? We're sort of a nation of mutts, well except for that Plymouth Rock landing set of @fieldgrade ancestors.

How would you really see that playing out here? Family being boarded on a train or more like an Australian gun turn in decree?

Just thinking out loud.

Unless absolutely necessary, probably best not to sell anything. Even if you have stuff you don’t shoot and/or don’t want, time’s coming where it will be more valuable than gold. There’ll be some misguided soul out there, that never saw the importance of owning firearms, but now needs one.

Hence the lack of availability, or at least some contribution to it. I see "first time gun owner" posts constantly in the gun groups on Facebook.

There’s a time to buy, a time to sell, and I time to hold, which is where we are now.
