31 states have open carry no permit required, so the MDA lady is wrong. The young lady was not carrying the AR concealed.

"The vast majority of states require that a person get a permit before carrying a concealed gun in public,"
said Diana David of Moms Demand Action, an organization that seeks public safety measures to protect people from gun violence. "That's a common-sense policy."

wrong? nah, just pushing an agenda without regard to the matter at hand.
if the listener doesn't know enough to know she's talking about something different and gets scared by it - even better.
 
Maybe I'm missing the point but why bring your granddaughter with and AR to a meeting about whether or not visitors to the state can carry a concealed handgun? Good on her for being trained and proficient with a firearm but I'm not a fan of other groups trotting out their kids for their cause so how is this different. My thought process doesn't change just because I agree with their platform.
 
Yeah, I agree with JohnnyT. What's the point in parading your 11 yo around carrying a long gun? It just solidifies the lefts notion that all gun owners are backwoods hillbilly rednecks.

Yep. I want my daughters to fly under the radar and only show their abilities in an emergency at that age. I donā€™t need to be parading them around for my goals. When they are adults they can decide if they are going to stand up for their beliefs. At that age they should be home and Mon and can be put doing the politicking.

But the right has been watching the left parade children and ā€œvictimsā€ since Iā€™ve been alive and now theyā€™re following suit. It is easier than calling them out and attacking the sad cases and kids.
