After forcing myself to learn REAL economics after the bankster debacle of 2007 - 08, I realize how many folk even younger than I, have NO knowledge of the history of constitutional coinage in America - even into the 20th century! I grew up at the kitchen table sorting bags of Mercury dimes with my dad, a collector, but that was the early/mid '70's; for those of you who came along later than that, you may not even realize such coins were commonplace (pocket change) as recently as 1964.

Came across the handy inforgraphic(s) set, because if you're already ON here, you need to know a LOTTA things (other than how to make gun go bang - Mongo voice off) to survive AFTER the world ends. Use it to educate your spouse, little ones, and others who might be in your bunker, or scrounging your neighborhood, someday...

I used to go into banks and buy rolls of halves. On average would find a pre-64 every couple rolls. This was probably 10-15 years ago.
