Phoenix actually is pretty nice. It's like any other large city, has its good places and its bad places too. I'm actually going south of Phoenix, down to Maricopa.

Yes sir, now is the prime time to do a desert shoot. Got another one planned for late fall as well, which is the other prime time of year for it.

I envy you! I love the desert! I was last out west in 2010 and wanting to go back. Have fun, be safe, and for God sakes snap a photo or two for us poor souls that hardly ever get out of these accursed windy, rainy mountains..lol

I just returned from 5 days in Phoenix. The weather was awesome. Enjoy your time.
 
I liked Arizona when I went. Is Tuscon still the number 2 city for kidnappings in the world? Are you running training or some special shoot?

Phoenix did have the highest rate of kidnapping in the US. Plus don't forget all the highway shootings south of there. Oh, and all the gang, cartel and drug mules.

But if you are shooting steel in the desert you might be prepared enough. Maybe. Enjoy!
