A Walther PPK/s, what kind of holster would she use?

Mine never wears a belt, pants likely won't tolerate an iwb, so I'm guessing a paddle holster is about it. It would hurt me to buy a paddle because it is likely that I will carry it more than her and I'm not a paddle fan. I would hate to spend too much on a holster she will rarely and I will never use.

Talk me out of something..

Thoughts, links, brands, suggestions?

My wife rarely wears a belt or a substantial one when she does, I made her an IWB kydex with a wide clip, holds okay. That's only about 4oz lighter.

The Well Armed Woman has a website that sells all kinds of carry garments for ladies.
Women often find the way men carry sucks for them.

There's a Sticky Holster with a clip on it now. It's quite versatile. No belt required. Works on body and off (purse). Clip snaps off so pocket carry is possible if there's a woman's pocket big enough for a holster and gun, maybe good for a jacket pocket.

When my wife had her IL permit she'd purse carry. She had proper holsters available but refused to use them. Ladies fashion hugging her curves doesn't look right when there's a heater under there.

I have a sturdy belt around my waist, I wear yoga pants with NO loops.

But your wife isn't nearly as round as I am, from what I remember, so clipping a gun to a belt may not work for her.
It is quite handy when you go to pee, though, not to have a holstered gun on your pants flopping all around. Your belt just stays put around your waist, with your gun attached, and your pants can do what they need to do!

This may not be helpful....sorry.....lol.

My wife carries in a purse made for carrying. Not ideal by any choice but admittedly she depends on me and I want her for another angle if the situation presents itself.

I discourage off-body carry in all my classes. That said, now that I am working for the state and traveling in a state owned vehicle, I am forced to carry in my pack.

There's the bra holster that someone developed a few years back...

I tried that with a kel tec .380....it was weird....tried the lace wraps too.....if you have anything but a teeny tiny light gun none of those might work...

My wife is smaller (125 lbs) and use to carry in a belly band type holster. After it wore out I ordered her a holster from @rantingredneck and she really likes it. Works with yoga type pants and other pants without a belt.

Her complaint about most holsters was she couldn’t dress feminine and not print. She’s had to change her clothes around a little bit but at least she’s carrying. Good luck with yours op.

@RS will not carry on body. I wish she would. Won't.

Same here with the Lady Brangus...........I have tried......I have criticized.......I have not been successful. I've accepted that she will only carry in a purse or vehicle console as opposed to not carrying anything at all.

That's the issue with carry for females.

I am 5'3" aand 105 lbs. It is very hard for me to carry and not print. I am limited to mouse guns for carry and must pre-arrange my dress/;carry options before I go out.

My wife carries IWB with a Clinger Stingray kydex. Fat clip. Holds well to the waist band of stretch pants.
She carries a Walther CCP.

My wife won't wear a belt either. Drives me crazy! I found a holster that uses a very strong magnet. Took a couple of months before I got it but it works great for her. Word of warning though.... My father passed last year. I used her LCP2 in that holster for pocket carry because I was wearing dress pants. When I walked up to the casket that damn thing said CLUNK and stuck to the metal casket. After shitting my pants I then had to show my family members what happened. We laughed for an hour.

My wife has a Eclipse Holsters IWB holster that uses a Ulti-Clip for her P365 that seems to work well for her.

That's why my wife carries a Kel-tec P32 with a clip. (No, not magazine.) We went through the bigger gun, but won't carry it phase, SP101, PPK/s, but kept leaving them at home.
She has the P32 on her always and it clips inside her waistband. It's so small and light she can tolerate it, along with a folding knife. :D
Now, she's talking about wanting to go up to 9mm, but I know she's not going to carry it. The .32ACP has decent penetration with hardball and I'm getting ready to test some of the Buffalo Bore +P hardcast FN. ;) But, even if she stays with the hardball, at least she's carrying. And she can always use it to fight her way to a bigger gun.

Some of us are fond of saying, Instead of buying a gun to fit the way you dress, dress for the gun that fits your needs. Yeah, well women generally aren't going to do that.

Gotta go with what works for YOU and what you're willing to LIVE with.

girl at work uses one of the belly band deals. She really likes it and says its the only way she can comfortably carry her lcp....She is 4"9 and weighs about 90 lbs though:confused:

Remora makes good clipless friction style IWBs. Wife uses one for her XDS and I have one for my J frame
A Remora is the best option we could find for my wife as well. I think we tried a half dozen different holsters of various types. The N82 wasn’t bad but a little too bulky to blend in with her wardrobe.

Female CCW without a belt is a PITA.

Mine carries in some kind of under armor exercise looking shorts that have reinforcements sewn in for the holster. Wears them with shorts, jeans, dress slacks etc, carries an xds45, she likes them a lot. I think they are undertech brand.

Only one way to carry a PPK: Shoulder holster, shirtless.
