Judge ruled based on pre-emption; local governments don't have the authority to pass such an ordinance. Would have been better if he had tossed it as a broader 2A infringement, but as others have said, it's still a win.

That's how I feel. Tell them they can't do it because it goes against the 2nd, instead of saying you can't because you missed the opportunity earlier.
