Georgia State Trooper gives a guy plenty of time and numerous opportunities (probably too many, if you ask me) to drop the gun and stay away from it. Meanwhile, his partner, Donut Sample First Class Smith, fumbles and fiddles with the driver as it plays out.

@Bailey Boat where the hell were you?!?! The one time you coulda got some action and you were off shining your boots or something!

Hell, it took his partner forever to cuff the guy he was watching. They are lucky that the other guy didn't start fighting. He had plenty of chances to start something.

These guys obviously had not watched the Buford T. Justice training videos:

Could have been handled way better.

Seriously though: it was like watching Smokey and the Bandit in real life.

In the video comments, it stated the Captain with the Sheriff Dept. retired the next day after watching the video.
He was very lucky that 'bubba' did not grab his service revolver, would have been very easy.

Yes. Driver should have been cuffed and stuffed at the first indication of a weapon.
Glad the Officers were not hurt.

In the first video, so many mistakes, so much luck used up that day. First, you ASK once, then you DEMAND once and then you ENFORCE the command. You don't keep repeating yourself. That's what was always taught, obviously the Trooper missed class that day. Both of them were VERY lucky....

Cops die because they make mistakes, those first 2 should by all rights be dead on the side of the road.......

Second video, You never, ever, never leave the keys in a patrol car, never ever!! I don't know how to make that any more clear... If a perp ever gets your vehicle he has 1. Your serious back up weapons, shotgun and/or rifle. 2. One of the fastest cars in the altercation. 3. He now knows as much as you do because he's listening to every thing being said on the radio. YOU have given him every opportunity and means to "Kill Yo A$$"......

The second video is Buford T. Justice's training video. You got it all wrong and I'm disappointed in not getting a full breakdown analysis from you on that one.
