After much consideration, I've decided to step down as match director.
These past several months, work has required more and more of my attention, leaving me with little time and energy to focus on the match, the maintenance of the range, and future development. If anything, I will become even busier in the future, which will leave me even less able to focus on the match.
A prospective replacement has stepped forward. I won't announce who that is until I have gotten them up to speed, they understand what they're getting into, and they decide to take the job.
I will stay on through the January match. If for whatever reason the January match is cancelled, I'll stay on through February. Going forward, it's my intention to stay involved with the match to whatever extent possible.
Thank you for your support over the last two years. I'd like to think that we have built one of the premier matches of this kind in the area, and I look forward to seeing where things go from here.
